Riviere-du-loup is a small city in Quebec, population under 20,000, located on the south shore of the St. Lawrence River.  The city was named after a nearby river which means "wolf" in french.

Not very nice to be outdoors today so we did most of our touring in the car.

But we did enjoy a nice walk in the park to start out the day.

Had to wear coats, but we were sheltered as we walked the trails....

Parc des Chutes (Falls Park) has a 33 metre (108 ft) waterfall, walking trails and foot bridges

Took advantage of the beauty, and practiced taking pictures.  Some turned out pretty good!!

Here is a sight you don't see very often - sail boats in the mud - they'll have to wait for high tide to sail away!!

Drove around the Old District.  After Montreal and Quebec City, this Old Town is pretty small.... but pretty nonetheless.
Rue Lafontaine is an important commercial street, located in the old district.
