Homeward Bound.
Left our friends Rich and Tina around 9:30 heading north toward home. Arrived in Seattle in time for lunch, so we tried out the Space Needle's rotating restaurant. Expensive - but worth the price. The view from up there is awesome. The food is pretty good too, I should add, but at $25.00 (each) they were the most expensive burgers we've ever had.......

The view from the top is awesome! Here are a couple of pictures looking down at Seattle.

Olympia, WA - Tumwater Falls Park

We didn't just sit around all day drinking beer, but we could have..... we drove into Olympia for the afternoon to see a few of the sights. These pictures were taken at Tumwater Falls Park, and this waterfall you see is THE waterfall that appears on the cans of Olympia Beer (the factory being in behind - you can see a little of it to the top left).
This picture of Tina, Rich and Michel was taken on the bridge over the falls. That is a restaurant in behind them.

Then we drove to the State Legislature Building.
Can't go to Olympia and not get a picture of that.

Ranier, WA
Decided on a whim yesterday (May 17th) to drive down to Ranier, WA to visit friends Rich and Tina. Michel had put in a half day work, waking at 5:30 am to do so, and after a short nap we packed and were on the highway by 3:15 in the afternoon. We drove steady with only one stop to put gas in the Tracker and grab a take-out lunch. We arrived at their driveway at 10:30 p.m. tired, but happy to see them again.
Today we got to visit and see their place. What a great place. They live right on the river. It flows right by as you sit on the deck. They have great out buildings, starting with their tree house, which they are totally refinishing and should be complete in the near future.

This is a picture of Tina's Flamingo Garden

And here is a picture of Tina's "Potting Shed". In it is a collection of Tina's 'stuff'.... Cute!!

Update:

We have a confirmed delivery date for our mobile home. May 30th is the day. We went to Greenwood a couple of weeks ago and prepared the lot and leveled the mobile home site.

And we've been shopping!! We now have our appliances and they'll be delivered to the mobile home before it gets moved to Greenwood, which will save us $$ in delivery charges. This is a good thing...... We bought a kitchen set and we have a mattress. So when we're there on weekends we have what we need. We have our power ordered and it sounds like we're good to go there too. Everything seems to be falling into place.

In the mean time - Michel is still working at Burnco, though he's yet to get a full 5 day week. But that is okay too as we've needed the days off during the week to get things done. My day goes by - I manage to keep busy and I'm really enjoying not working.
