On December 5th we had a small Happy Hour here with Deb and Len, Rich and Tina, and Steve and Doreen.

There have been several events in the park since I last posted. December has been a busy month to say the least. We played Bunco with a ladies luncheon on Thursday, December 2nd at noon with 24 ladies in attendance. (no picture)

On Saturday the 11th, we had a pancake breakfast in the morning and the Snowflake Dance in the evening. No pictures of the dance but here is a shot of our cooks for breakfast.

The Ladies Birthday Luncheon was on Thursday the 16th, with 26 ladies in attendance.

Marion, Peggy and Brenda prepared and served the lot of us a ham and scallop potato lunch. We sure do eat a lot in this park.

Saturday the 18th, early evening, a group of about 20 or 25 sat around a few fire pits and indulged in some egg nog, followed by Carolling through the park. We didn't sound very good, but we had fun, and we think that the ones who stayed home enjoyed our singing... or maybe not!!

Yesterday a group of 13 fun seekers rode the Sunny Cycle through and around downtown Palm Springs. It was a lot of fun, planned and organized by Marilyn.

Here we all are in front of the Sunny Bus. Most are from Rainbow Spa

We stopped at two restaurants along our two-hour bicycle trip where we quenched our thirst from all the peddleing! Appies supplied by the restaurant.

Here we all are at Lulu Bistro - the 1st pit stop.

The second pit stop was the Brickhouse where they served up some of their pizza. Very good pizza too.

I am pretty sure everyone had a super time. We sang and waved to people along our route. I am sure they thought we were all a bit daft!!

On our way out of Downtown Palm Springs we swung back to see and get a picture of Marilyn Monroe -- back where she belongs!!

December 05, 2021

Today Michel got all my Christmas totes out from storage - all three of them! Nowhere near as many as last year, but it was fun anyway.

Bought a new item this year.
The large Poinsettia on the front of the rig.
I thought it was huge when we got it in Algodones, but the motorhome kinds stunts the size of it. Oh well, looks good anyway.

Yesterday was Thanksgiving.
We had a wonderful turkey dinner with about 85 wonderful people.

And today... it looks like Christmas in the clubhouse.....

Nobody sits around for too long around here.....
