Happy Easter Everyone!
May this Easter Sunday inspire you to new hope, happiness, prosperity and abundance, all received through God’s divine grace.
Our Easter Sunday is a quiet one, as we cooked turkey and had Steve and Doreen over on Good Friday. They are on their way to Palm Springs for a month as I write this. Travel safe you two!!!
I don't know what the weather is like where you are living, but look what we woke up to this morning.
At 7:30 there was a skiff of snow in the ground and now it's noon and still snowing - we already have 6 inches piled up on the deck....
What a change from yesterday. The sun was shining and it was 12 or so degrees out there......
The crocuses are out of the ground and soon the daffodils will be in full bloom in Kelowna.
We'll have to wait an extra few weeks to see this wonderful transition into spring because we are now home in Greenwood.
It's been six weeks and Michel's mom's hip has healed. She's been home for three weeks and is getting around pretty good with the aid of a walker. We were feeling like we were more in the way than being of any help, so after five and a half weeks of living at Michel's parents, we decided it was time to come home.
And our good friends Steve and Doreen have so graciously moved back to their 5th wheel to accommodate us.
The weather here has been quite nice. Very cool at night, but the sun has been shining in the day time, so there is very little snow left.
It feels very good to be home, sleeping in our own bed, washing our own dishes. How sweet it is!!
Road Trip -
Today we met up with good friends Bob and Ann for a road trip. A much needed time-out for us.
Destination - Karemeos - to visit with mutual friend Jim Miljour.
We had lunch and visited. Lots of laughs!! We don't have to go far to have a good time.
Michel 'inherited' his mother's '86 Chrysler Fifth Avenue since both his parents no longer have their Drivers Licence, so we took it for the highway tour. It hasn't been on the highway for many years!!
