March 4, 2011

We arrived here at the Fiesta RV Park in Bullhead City on March 1st and we'll be staying here for the month. It's a very nice, clean RV park, the people are super friendly and there is so much to do (planned activities) that if we get bored it will be our own fault.

Here are a few pictures of home for the next month:

#1 - the Entrance

This one is of the Clubhouse and Pool area. But only 1/2 of it. It's a horseshoe, so it goes around the opposite side as well. There are 2 pools and 2 hot tubs; a very nice billiard room with 4 pool tables and 1 snooker table; card building, sewing room, craft area, a large laundromat with new front load machines..........

The Lounge area. Through the double doors is a huge dining hall, with a full service kitchen, a stage and seating for at least 200.

The Library - there are many books to read; all four walls are covered with shelves and soft cover books - all alphabetically organized by author.

This is a panoramic view of the Park - there are over 300 sites. Right now we were told there are 500 people in the park.....

There is a story around this park. Apparently this 47-acre, Spanish style resort was built by Wayne Newton. He had intentions of making it into a Casino-Resort, but he couldn't get the casino license.

Wow...looks like a fabulous place to spend March. Enjoy. So glad to hear you are staying Stateside for the month as it's not pretty here at all. Still lots of snow, and more of our share of cool temps compared to Spring like conditions. Maybe by the time you come back in April, we may have warmed up. Bring back some heat, will you? ;)
