Today we said good bye to good friends Mike and Chris. After spending a month with them, it was a tearful parting. But we're in the Desert Hot Springs/Palm Springs area for another three weeks, so we expect to see them again before we leave the area. Picture #1 is Mike and Al doing up a bbq..... It was Al and Donna's property we were staying at with Mike and Chris. Here are a few pictures of their property, because a picture is worth a 1000 words. They have a 5 star property and they've put a lot of time and effort into it as you will see by the following few pictures.
And we visited Balboa Park in San Diego.
We had lunch at the Hob Nob Restaurant in San Diego. This is just one of the many restaurants featured on the Food Network's show Drive Ins, Diners and Dives.
We went to Coronado and walked the beach
And we spent last week end in Quartzsite, Az. We ate at the famous "Silly Als" Pizza bar. Here we are eating again!!
