Today we went painting. Mary Lou (painting teacher) took us out to a friends’ farm, where there were many choices of things to paint. She has lots of animals on her farm; cows, horses, donkeys, goats, geese, turkeys, chickens, peacocks, doves, and of course dogs…. The cows here are sure a lot skinnier than our cows.
They use pallets for fencing and for the animal pens.
Our hostess was Margarita and she was a wonderful hostess. She made us lunch; carne asada (bbq beef); tortillas, salsa, guacamole…. Very good!! (the beef here is very chewy, not like our good old Costco beef!!)
