We spent one day short of a week in Grimshaw, AB. with my kids and grandkids and had a wonderful visit.
pictured above is 'grandma' sharing fries with her granddaughter - - to the right, Melody, who turned 2 on September 18th - Isn't she a cutie?? We had a great day shopping and just spending time with her. She enjoyed the dogs at Tammy & Rob's house.
pictured left is Michel and Tristan (my grandson) - sharing a bag of chips and a controller. They were playing XBox or something like that.
and below is my grandson Tristan, daughter Tammy, her boyfriend Rob - and of course there sits Michel and myself. You can see the huge plates of food in front of us. We sure do eat well!!!

It was sad to leave them - seeing them once a year isn't enough. I made them promise that they'd come to Greenwood next summer and spend some time with us here....
We drove as far as Clearwater on Monday, Oct 5th (10 hours) and stayed at a B&B there, then continued on to Kelowna on Tuesday. We stayed with Michel's parents for the night, did a little grocery shopping in the morning then headed home. It doesn't matter where you go or how long you are gone - it's always good to get home!!!
Next we'll be loading up the motorhome for our trip south.....

Loved your vaction photos! So glad you were able to spend time with the kids and the much loved grandkids. Melody is getting sooo big and cuter everytime I see her. And Tristan looks soooo much like his Mom. :D
Don't you even Think about taking off south without getting together with us before you leave...and that's a threat!!!!
