A little farther north - - Plamondon, AB, about 2 hours north east of Edmonton, we stayed with another of my favorite cousins - Darlene and her husband Ed Cyre. We had such a good visit. We hadn't seen them in three years so once again we had a lot of "catching up" to do - Lots to say - little time to say it in.

Pictured right - Ed and Michel toasting our time together.

When we left Norman and Alice's we ventured to St Albert where we stayed with my girlfriend Deb and her husband Len for a couple of nights. The next day (Sept 26th) they took us to the outdoor market. This market place goes on all summer long, closing the Main Street downtown every Saturday.
(Pictured to the right is Deb and Len)
We went out for dinner later that day to a wonderful Italian restaurant on the West side of Edmonton. We drove by my old digs after dinner, then down Jasper Avenue, a place I hadn't seen in a LONG time.... and Michel had NEVER seen.

We left on Sunday, Sept. 27th and headed a little farther north after a good breakfast. Deb's daughter Danielle and her husband Morgan and their two girls joined us for breakfast and a short visit.

(Pictured here is: l to r - Len, Hudzyn, Lakelyn, Deb, Myself, Morgan and Danielle)

In this picture Deb is busy painting Hudzyn's fingernails. Little girls - sugar and spice......

We left the Mountainaire Lodge this am, northbound for Edmonton.

There we visited for a few hours with one of my favorite cousins - Norman and his wife Alice. We had such a good visit; hadn't seen them in a few years so we had a lot of "catching up" to do. (This picture was taken a few years ago)

We started our Alberta holiday yesterday, spending our first night with Michel's daughter Alisha and her husband Rob. We went out for dinner and later had an exciting game of dice. No pictures taken - forgot the camera in the suitcase - good way to start a holiday eh????

Today we are at Mountainaire Lodge, near Sundre. The Lodge burned down last year and they are in full swing rebuilding. Michel even put on a hard hat and joined the crew for the day.

This is the temporary digs for the restaurant and store.
